Come As You Are

Everyone’s Welcome, Nobody’s Perfect, Anything is Possible

Church websites often begin their user experience with a “catch phrase” or a “headline”.

You might come across things like: “Welcome Home”, or, “A Place to Belong”.

No matter what churches may say on the main page of their site, these sayings are meant to give you a feel for the experience you might have visiting or attending, based on what a church feels is most important to them, or, what a church wants you to experience when you are with them.

At the Vineyard, what is most important to us is that you feel that you can be who God has authentically created you to be.

You don’t have to be like anyone else.

You don’t need to change, or jump through any hoops for any of us.

You don’t need to subscribe. You don’t need to “like” or “follow” anyone.

You don’t have to be a part of any political party or theological bent.

We just ask that you ask yourself what Jesus meant when He said, “love one another, as I have loved you.”

That’s it.

If we can do that, we believe some truly beautiful things will happen in us and around us.

Everyone is welcome and everyone can find a place to love and serve one another here.

No matter your age, gender, ethnicity, socio-economics, politics, or theology, whether you are married, single, divorced, in recovery, or just looking for a safe place to meet someone who cares, we believe in unity in love and mercy, expressed in authenticity and diversity.

So, come as you are. It’s even okay to not be okay here. No matter who you are, what you think, how you feel or what you have done, you matter to God and to us and we’d love to get to know you.
